- 1 Quart Cold Water
- 1/2 Cup Chili Powder
- 1/2 Cup Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 tbsp roux This is a thikening agent made from 2 parts flour and 1 part oil.
Instructions
- Combine the water, paprika, chili powder, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the roux, simmer for a minute and remove from heat.
